A note about access
Monarca is on the third floor and reached by stairs. It’s about a four-minute walk from the parking area. Please keep the walk and stairs in mind when planning your arrival and luggage.
Settle into an armchair on your private balcony, level with the treetops and facing San Pedro, Tolimán, and Atitlán. It feels like a little nest above Panajachel.
Inside, a queen bed with a memory-foam topper, a full kitchen, a work desk, and a closet make it easy to settle in. The shower has a filter, and the drinking-water tap at the sink uses reverse osmosis and UV purification. Small comforts, thought through for everyday use.

Out and about
Monarca sits among the treetops in a safe residential area, away from the busiest part of Panajachel. Calle Santander is about seven minutes away by tuk-tuk, so cafés, restaurants, and shops are still within easy reach. The public dock is roughly 25 minutes on foot, with boats to the villages around the lake.

Is the balcony private?
Yes. The covered balcony belongs to your studio, with two armchairs facing the volcanoes. No other guests pass through it.
What about the rooftop?
The fourth-floor rooftop terrace is shared with other units in the building. It has lounge seating, dining tables, and fire pit tables overlooking the valley.
How do I get from parking to the studio?

When can I check in?
Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm only. Checkout is before 11:00 am. Please plan your arrival around this window.
